What the figures are

Vanuatu's citizenship-by-investment route is a donation programme. The main figure is a contribution to the Government of Vanuatu, not a property purchase or an investment you later sell. For 2026 the published figures are $130,000 for a single applicant and $170,000 for a family of four on one application.

A spouse and dependent children can be included on the same application, which is why the family figure is so much lower than four separate applications would be.

How the payment is staged

You never pay the full amount up front. Each stage is released only once the one before it has cleared.
